Mrs Lonsdale
In Reception, we have a balance between child-initiated and adult led activities. When children are operating in the provision they are learning through play, within enabling environments, with the support and guidance of knowledgeable adults; providing secure relationships in which children flourish and reach their full potential. The environments are very well planned for to ensure they meet the needs and interests of all children, provide adequate challenge, as well as enabling children to secure, revisit and build on their learning.
Children have access to the both the indoor and outdoor environments for most of the school day. We love the outdoors and always take advantage of what nature has to offer.
Children always have fresh fruit each day and a carton of milk is available should the children want one.
Below, you will find our 'Learning Priorities' for Autumn 1. Our key texts are 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea', 'The Rainbow Fish' and 'Elmer'.
If you have any questions, then please do not hestitate to speak to a member of staff.
Thank you for your continued support,
